Dialogue Matters worked with the University of Lancashire, commissioned by Natural England, to research the views and perception that young people have of the coast. Blending different participation and social science methods and techniques, the research involved young people aged between 11 and 18 years of age and took place in Cumbria. Outputs include songs, raps and stories. The work was commissioned by Natural England and they have now published the complete report, which gives insights into how young people perceive the natural world and the coast in particular.
This project was commissioned and funded by Natural England as part of development work for the Living Coast Project.
